Our history
We’re the Co-Founders of Lexep: joseph and Fiz Danielz. We're both brothers. As our love, passion and understanding of technology continued to grow, the more we saw the need to start our own business. It meant more than "just a coincidence" on how we began as we both wanted to bring more people to the internet, help them connect and do things on the internet.
In May of 2017, we started Lexep in our Room at our father's house. Our journey has been very challenging with a lot of experiment and failures but exciting. Everything we have built has been with the vision of making our world smarter and more creative.
Our natural unique blend of business structure with character allows us to build strong relationships with others. We’ve been blessed with many talents and gifts that we make sure never to take for granted. Our passion lies with education and enabling others to become more creative.
It’s been quite the ride since we first started Lexep. We'll never lose sight of our values and we’re committed to writing another page of our life story.

Publications are shared spaces for stories written around a common theme or topic, usually by multiple authors.
The internet should reward quality thinking, not clickbait. That’s why we’ve created a better home for writers, journalists and experts. It’s simple to use and connects you to curious, avid readers, so you can focus on what matters: putting your best work out there.
Writers should be paid for the quality of their ideas — not the attention they attract for advertisers. That’s why anyone can join Lexep and earn money when Lexep members read their stories.
Write something good
Share your thinking about something that matters to you. It can be short or long, serious or funny, reported or opinionated - it’s the quality of your perspective that counts.
Put your story to work If you’d like to earn money through the Partner Program, make sure that you Subscribe and publish your story.
Earn for your work
If you’re in the Partner Program, you’ll earn money when subscribing members read your work.
Get paid Everyday
Each day, we’ll deposit your earnings into your bank account or debit card or mobile money wallet.
Expand your audience
Your story doesn’t end here. Keep writing about what you love to build and broaden your readership. We’ll help spread the word, too.
You’re rewarded by readers, not advertisers
Partner Program writers are paid based on how deeply Lexep members read their work. As members read and react more, writers earn more. In addition, we distribute a portion of each member’s subscription fee to the writers they read most each day.
Each publication is owned by a single user account—the publication's owner. The owner account has full rights to manage the publication and can add other users as publication editors and writers.
Creating a publication is available to all Lexep users. The user account used to create the publication will become its owner.
For a step-by-step guide to setting up your publication, see Create Publication.
In the publication's setting, you can add a header with a title, set up a number of sections with customizable layouts to make your publication look great and more readable.
For a story to be added to a publication, a user must first write the story and submit to the publication.
Once a story is submitted to a publication, it is accessible to the public yet the publication's owner can edit the story again and re-publish into the publication. The author retains all rights to the content and is still able to introduce changes or withdraw it from the publication altogether.
NOTE:
MAKE IT YOURS
All writing and images must be your own, or must be used with permission or citation.
RAISE THE BAR
Lexep readers seek depth and nuance. So we recommend publishing your best analysis, reporting, essays, and ideas - and avoiding listicles or fluff pieces.
Stories published on Lexep should foster thinking that educates, inspires, and moves understanding forward. We’ve created some best practices to ensure everyone’s on the same page.

To be the game-changing and the leading social media platform in Africa and one of the best in the world.
In order for publishers, creators and third-party providers to utilize monetization tools on Lexep, they must comply with a set of rules called Partner Monetization Policies.
These rules apply to all content on Profiles, Events, Albums, Reads and Market on Lexep.
In order to earn money on Lexep, you must:
Join Our Partner Program
On Lexep, you do not need to reach some level of followers to be able to monetize. Just join our Partner program by upgrading to enterprise level subscription and you're good to go.
Create content on an eligible surface
At this time, monetization features are available for public content on Lexep Profiles, Reads and Albums.
Be located in an eligible country
To monetize, you must be located in a country where the product or feature is available. You may lose your ability to monetize if you move to an ineligible location or if Lexep changes product eligibility.
Follow our Community Standards
These rules apply to all posts and interactions on Lexep, including rules against hate speech, calls for violence, and sexualized content. Any content posted by publishers, creators or third-party providers that violates our Community Standards, including our policies regarding intellectual property, authenticity, and user safety, may cause creators, publishers or third-party providers to become ineligible or lose their eligibility to monetize.
If you believe you may have violated our policies regarding intellectual property, learn more about copyright or trademark infringement above.
Follow our Content Monetization Policies
Monetized content must pass an additional level of standards above and beyond our Community Standards. These additional rules are called Content Monetization Policies. These include deeper restrictions on the content itself and the formats in which it is presented.
Share authentic content
Creators, publishers and third-party providers posting content flagged as misinformation and false news may be ineligible or may lose their eligibility to monetize. Creators, publishers and third-party providers sharing clickbait or sensationalism may be ineligible or lose their eligibility to monetize.
Share original content
Content Creators, publishers and third-party providers can only monetize content that they created or were involved in the creation of, or that directly features the creator, publisher or third-party provider. Content that is unoriginal or reproduced without making meaningful enhancements (commentary, parody, creative editing, etc.) cannot be monetized. Affiliate entity content distributed by third-party providers, such as multi-channel networks or social media agencies, may be considered original content.
Monetize authentic engagement
Creators, publishers and third-party providers can only monetize content consumed by their natural, authentic audience. This means creators, publishers and third-party providers may not engage in any behavior that artificially boosts followers, views or engagement. This includes manufactured sharing, which is coordinated distribution of content, often for compensation, and spam. Albums managed by a third-party provider, such as a multi-channel network, are able to share content from affiliate entities.
Creators, publishers and third-party providers may lose the ability to monetize if their audience significantly consists of fake engagement, including, but not limited to, Likes, follows, and views.
Follow our Payment Terms
Monetizing Creators, publishers and third-party providers must comply with Lexep's rules for making and receiving payments.
Develop an established presence
Creators, publishers and third-party providers must have an authentic, established presence on Lexep. To be eligible for all monetization features, this means having an established presence for at least 90 days is a plus, this also includes maintaining a sufficient follower base, indicated by your Lexep followers.
Follow our rules for politicians and governments
Current elected and appointed government officials, who are subject to applicable government ethics are not eligible for monetization features. Current political candidates, parties, and registered political committees, who are subject to applicable election or campaign finance rules, are also not eligible for monetization features. Communications that are regulated as political advertising under applicable law are also ineligible for monetization features. However, in Africa, we have tools that may be used in branded content posts if the paying partner has been authorized to run ads about social issues, elections or politics.
Only connect to entities that follow our policies
Monetized creators, publishers and third-party providers and those that have not been onboarded to a monetization product, may lose the ability to monetize if an entity connected to it has violated these policies.
Lexep reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate access to, or discontinue the availability of, its content monetization features at any time. If you've lost access to our monetization features, but you believe you should be eligible, you can submit an appeal via [email protected]

It’s hard to have a sense of privacy if you don’t feel safe and secure too. That’s why we provide you with features like Login Verification (a form of two-factor authentication) to secure your account, and why we take considerable efforts to secure our own infrastructure.
